Pinched Nerve

Understanding pinched nerve

A “pinched nerve” happens when nearby tissues — such as a disc, bone spur or tight muscle — put pressure on a nerve. In the spine, this is often called radiculopathy.

A pinched nerve in the neck may cause pain, tingling or weakness in the shoulder, arm or hand. In the lower back, it may cause symptoms in the buttock, leg or foot, like sciatica.

Our goal is to find where the nerve may be irritated and recommend non-surgical options that may help reduce pressure and improve movement.
