Slip and Fall Injuries
Understanding slip and fall injuries
A fall on a wet floor, stairs, ice or at work can injure the back, neck, hips, knees, wrists or shoulders. Some injuries are obvious right away; others show up days later as pain and stiffness.
Falls can strain muscles and ligaments, irritate joints and discs, and change the way you move while your body protects the injured area.
After urgent injuries such as fractures have been ruled out, an evaluation can help identify soft-tissue and spinal injuries and document them properly for any claim.
